Bowling up a Storm

today was pretty much an exciting day for me!

1. i'm going to meet Eric! whom i've not seen for 2 years
2. going to Mt Faber as a spectator (Singapore Open)

i took a bus from Bishan to Mt Faber, and damn! the journey was long, almost 1.5hr. luckily i bought 8 days magazine along with me.

and finally after a long trip, i finally arrived at destination! all thanks to streetdirectory.com! hehez

so many familiar faces, ahyoo nostalgia going to hit me again. but shant rat on that. "picked" eric up from the bowling centre and to the Singapore Flyer. My first time there as well, glenda's too. we felt more like tourists than eric do! snapping pictures, snap snap snap.

it was a 30mins long ride, highest point was 165m above sea lvl. there's basically only construction going on la. =P booooo! fortunately we went in the evening soooo we got to enjoy the sun set. for me, i got bored after awhile...esp after hitting the highest point, i sat down, stomach grumbling, only to realise glenda and eric felt the same haha =P
breath taking view from up above the blue blue sea. and the spectacular sunset amidst the urban jungle landscape.sooo alas! the journey was over, we went to the nearest hawker place for dinner. Local food, local food. food that cant be found in HK, well at least those that prolly doesnt taste that nice in hk. carrot cake, hokkein mee, satay, sambal stingray, chendol, etc. cherie, daphne and sharon joined us for dinner as well. Sharon says, malaysia dont have fried prawn mee, and their hokkien mee is black. haha


and for our last food stop of the day, DURIANS! yummy ones along geylang road! didnt get a chance to eat it during kok and ang's birthday, finally! open a durian along the road side, and savouring the richness of the yellow flesh beneath the green thorny shell. *yum*. we had red prawn by the way, hong xia. it has real small seeds soo it was quite worth it, lots of flesh.

the uncle looked so fierce, with tattoos all over his arm, and holding a knife at us "which one u want?"im surprise eric even likes it. haha i told him, tomorrow you sure perfect game, well close enough, he just called and said he bowled a 289! haha
