haha well..finally i can blog bout my normal current life in Singapore=)

okie..i shall not bore all of u with my daily life..

Event no. 2 : SDE Dinner & Dance

i had my 3 spoilt brats n my 4 lovely girlfriends down for D&D to support me! haha thanks for the flowers n support=) love ya'll deeeeeeplyn yes..

Day 8 & 9 combine...in Aussieland - Melb

travelled back frm Great Ocean Road to the city..which took us around 3 hrs..

n immediately, we headed for DFO! (Direct Factory Outlet)

shopped till most of the shops closed

steph bought 2 bags, 2 pieces of clothing, 3 PJs, 1 piece of accessory
total : 200 Aussie

then it was dinner with sophie n kim at laigon

after dinner we just went straight back to sam's place n packed our luggages..

on the last day...we did some last min shopping b4 goin to the airport n back to Sunny Spore..

damn hot ah!

Day 7 in Aussieland

byeee sydney! hello melb again...

the route up to the Twelve Apolstles was uber scenic..u'll nv find it in spore..nor in msia..the view tgt with the climate..ooooo perfect combination....

haha i was telling the 2 brats(who were awake)..doesnt it remind u of Jurassic Park?!

haha well we saw lots of sheeps n cows..all over the countryside

over the hills..on large green pastures...paradise...

n we finally reached the 12 apolstles ! after a 2 hrs drive..

look at our faces! covered by hair! haha the wind was soo strong there

Day 6 in Aussie - Sydney

on day 6 of our trip..we were all terribly shagged!
like really really tired!!

so we decided okie! today shall be a relaxing day..so we woke up later than usual..did not rush for time..took our time to pack n freshen up

first stop! Paddy Marketit kinda like Nu Ren Jie in hk but less chiong stuff...they still have it..but it's more expensive sooo NOT WORTH IT! nevertheless..i bought myself 2 PJs n table mats for the new home...hehe

2nd stop! Sydney Fish Marketmet TianLi and Inez at Darling harbour ard lunch time and we walked to the fish market..it was quite a long walk but it's okie..we needed to digest the food we ate in the previous night hehez

could smell the fish even w/o goin into the market..the smell was soooo strong...

so we ventured into the market..it doesnt look like the wet market i pictured it to be but rows of cafes and restaurants serving live seafoodthe place was very crowded! no seats for us so we had to sit outside with the BIRDS!
it was quite scary becoz inez said they were attack by the seagulls b4 so we need to cover our food..n so we had a scrumptious lunch yet again..but at a LOWER price
had a seafood platter..sashimi..n of coz fresh oyster! yummilicious eh?!
we went to the fruit market next..woah! the strawberries are huge! cheeries are huge too...even the lemons are huuugeee!


after tt off we went..to another foodie place...

Lindts Chocoooo...it was a chocolate galore...fit for choc enthusiast..
*slurp*after slurping choc..we took the Water Taxi n headed towards the Sydney Opera House..the view was amazingly amazingit was a cold night tt day..so we went to meet marc's primary sch friends for HOTPOT..haha hotpot in aussie..amusing?! we ordered a lot! haha it tasted delicious until someone put the mutton in...eeeewwww i hate the smell of tt....=X

well tt's about all for day 6 guys! basically it was just a "eating" day hehez

Day 5 in AussieLand

steph, michelle, tyler and marcus woke up early and took a train to TianLi's house in the Suburbs

his apartment has a waterfront view...ooooo!

then we headed down to

Hunter Valley

along the way, we saw numerous VINEYARDS! it wasnt like what i've expected..not as pretty=X
tyler say it's not in season..so the grapes were all dried up...boo hoo

well we went for wine tasting and cheese tasting..it was freeeeeee!

bought myself 2 bottles of wine, quarter block of cheese and a jar of chili cheese..
(post-aussie party at my house anyone?)after tasting wines, we went to

Hunter Valley Garden

we played golf there!!n guess what!?!!
i had a "hole-in-one" and won myself a bottle of coke!
ooooo -winks-headed back to Tianli's place to pick up Inez and we're off for dinner!
again...we didnt really have lunch nor breakfast..so DINNER tt day was very very important!

so Tianli suggested a seafood restaurant in Chinatown..and we waited for around an hour for a table...brace urself for what u're gonna see...what the 4 spoilt brats tgt with their assoc had for dinner tt very fateful day.........


1st dish : LaLa-s or Pi-Pi-s


2nd dish: 4Kg King Crab (smallest one they have)

check out the noodles...they're not covered with tomato sauce..but PURE Crab Roe


3rd and 4th dish: Steamed Native Fish and Vegetables

Day 4 in Aussie

Day 4 in Aussieland

there are 4 parts to it..

Part 1 - Featherdale Wildlife Park

ooooo lots of Kangaroos

wombats

n the koalas are sooo darn cute! clinging on tree barks snoozing away

the tasmanian devil just kept running in circles..



and after "sayanging" the kangaroos n all...we went back to the tour bus

the tourguide said, " for lunch today, there will be a special dish...KANGAROO MEAT

all four of us were like OMG!

we'll pass

Part 2 of our Adventure : Blue Mountainsit was really cold up there...all 4 of us were shivering...

brrrr....

first up: we took a tram to descend the mt.. the tram which coal miners took everyday.

it was super duper scary!! becoz the steepness of the slope wasclose to vertical..n thanks to the boys..we sat right in front...
there were no safety hand rails nor safety belts!!once we got to the scenic platform..all was worth it
the view was spectacularly beautiful!

we took 2 more transportation...2 cable car rides
1st one was just a normal ride..nothing special..

for the 2nd one...those who have a fear for heights better not try..
we went across 2 mountains

and we could see the lush greenary beneath OUR FEET!
hanging in mid air

so we spent our lunchtime camwhoring outside the restaurant while the others eat


Part 3 - Jenolan Caves!

after lunch we took the tourbus up to the caves
it was quite a long journey up..prolly 2hrs drive?

well there are 9 caves but only 2 will be open for viewing every interval..
their limestone caves ( I THINK!)
with crystal formation at the tips
we werent allowed to touch the stones or we'll destroy it
Last but not least...
Part 4 : DINNER!

after everything..we were totally famished..only had mac breakfast n THAT'S IT! for the whole day..

met TianLi and his girlfriend Inez at a german restaurant near the Sydney Opera house
it was like a 45 mins walk frm our hotel...
by the time we reached there..

WE WANT FOOD!

after dinner we went for a walk at The Rocks where we saw the

Infamous Sydney Opera House

and

the Sydney Harbour Bridge

Day 3 Melb - Sydney

Day 3 in Aussie

Melbourne - Sydney

we woke up pretty early tt day to catch our flight to Sydney from Avalon Airport in Melb..
took sam's recommended taxi driver to the airport..he was really funny..and HIP..he plays Snoop Dog in his cab..

we had some trouble checking in at the counter becoz

1. marc's hand carry was overweight
2. mich's hand carry was too fat to go into the cabin locker

so we had to REPACK!

then we found out, our flight to Sydney was CANCELLED! due to FOG in Sydney airport

so we had to wait for another 2 hrs, for the next flight..so we spent our time eating breakfast and
shopped a little.

so we arrived in Sydney after a 90mins flight, though our itenary was a little behind time..we still manage to visit the places set out..



EXCEPT for my AQUARIUM!
boo hoo....

we went to Darling Habour



n then went for some shopping at

Queen Victoria Place
the shopping centre is unlike those we have in spore..

the design of the place was different..
giving us a "royalty" feel to it

n after tt..we went to another place to shop..

factory outlets!!
at Market City..michelle n i shopped till they closed! haha while marc n tyler waited for us..
oopsie!=P

dinner!
yay! went for japanese food...
the food was great..prolly becoz we had too much western food..we need some Asian Food to satisfy our tastebuds n of coz our stomach..hehe

had seafood udon n marc n tyler said it looks like YONG TAU FOO.
haha oh well..as long as it is tasty..
