today's programme was SHOPPING @ Bugis & Movie! yipppeesss! =)
shopping was great great great...although i didnt get super a lot of things like *a-K-h-e-E-LL-m-Y!* it was still rather satisfying...saw lots of stuff which i wish i could get my hands on...but! i think i still need some time to think whether i really need it =P
Incident no. 1: while shopping with kelly, this guy came from behind us and asked me whether he could be my friend...i was like stunned at first but told him NO! it was so weird la! so random guy, wake up! you are weird weird weird...i felt like we were stalked...ewwwww so scary...luckily zijian showed up soon enough =)
so this is the catch of the day...a mini black dress i bought for $25! exactly what i was looking for... while my dear kelly got a bag and 2 dresses
and then dinnertime! the most impt part of the day....we wanted to eat MaMaison but the queue was uber uber long! so we settled for Nan Xiang Steamed Bun restaurant which had the shortest queue...it wasnt very good i must say...substandard compared to din tai feng...the dishes are either too salty or tasteless...we sent back the rice cake because it was simply tasteless! boooo...but the ambience was good..i like the nice cushion seats we were on=) comfy enough to catch up with the 2 powerpuffs=) and i finally ate xiao long bao
oh yes! not forgeting the XL crab roe xiao long bao we ordered! Its hugeeee! and yes your eyes are fine..that's really a straw!...they stuck a straw into the bao so that we could drink the soup frm that...and it was uber hot! jianjian took the first sip.....=P we felt so cheated because there wasnt any meat in that xiaolongbao.....
Incident no. 2 : while we made our way to PS for our movieee....my sandal strap broke! OMG second time this semester...am i unlucky or what...this time it was in public......boooo what a disaster! i couldnt even walk already...i dont wanna trust that particular dumb shop anymore! arghhhahya no choice got to cab to PS and we alighted at Cathay so i could get myself a comfy pair of Havianas! my first pair of Havis because i couldnt bare to spend that kinda money on flipflops...BUT it cant be help=P haha what an excuse.....that dumb NUM guy say i dont look like a NUS student......but he was nice enough to pack my dreadful sandals into a bag
anyway we caught CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC...it's an incredibly good show to catch it with your girlfriends, n im so glad i watched it with kelly and jianjian =)
Rebacca Bloomwood kinda reminded me of someone i know....hmmmmmz with heaps of clothes, lines of shoes, tangled up accessories...and ahem! this movie isnt bimbotic okay! it's soo REAL sooo relateable(is there such a word?) i can totally relate to it..oops=X..the temptations that beautiful boutiques pose while i was suppose to be "window" shopping... how the world will be a better place whenever i shop...swiping that magic card and having your heart pulsate faster when you finally found THE ONE dress...there also issues of honesty and money management no doubt..which im finding hard to handle too =P SALE SALE SALE!
