this week has been a real busy one.
busy meeting friends,
busy helping michelle,
busy buying presents and
busy making presents.
let's backtrack to Thursday - 21st May 2009: Day out to the MuseumCad, Bp, Kelly n I had dim sum lunch buffet at Excelsor Hotel. Plan to Kushinbo was cancelled because everyone else Pang Seh bp n cad, while kelly n i didnt want to spend so much on lunch. the food at Excelsor was not bad for $17. though the variety wasnt as wide ranging, it was good.
Our after lunch plan was to watch A Night at the Museum 2 which we did at Cathay, we missed the first 5 mins of the movie because cad wanted to save on ERP...-.- "
overall, the movie was quite a short one, a predictable ending (good triumph over evil) , few funny moments, n i prefer the 1st one
we were so inspired by the Movie =X that we headed across the road, to the Singapore National Museum. Free entry for NUS students if u present your Matric Card, call that a perk of being an NUS student.
There were 2 exhibits at the basement, so we decided to go check them out, one was on Furniture design ( more like Industrial Design) and the 2nd one was on Fashion, elaborated works of art.Headed upstairs for the exhitbits on the History of Singapore. how boring can Singapore be, everything we already learnt from years of social studies n history in secondary sch. there were no first man to the moon, no first lady to fly a plane, no dinosaur exhibits nor were there pharoahs and tombstones. but there were tanks.....4 other exhibit halls featuring food of the past, photograhy, film, and fashion. what kelly n i realise was, clothes worn in the past is becoming real fashionable now! haha how can they be in the Museum....=P
