Quarter century burger

i've been to many Mac birthdays when i was little, but i cant seem to recall of any! only saw photos...

given an opportunity to relive those Macdonalds moment when i was a kid on Thursday, Eugene's 25th Macdonalds birthday, yes! 25 years old!
christina was the organizer for that evening, we played games, sat on mini stools, ate on mini tables and wore party hats and name tag, only 9 of us but it was definitely an experience i'll prolly remember well, maybe till im 40.
party ended around 9 plus, undecided as we always are, we drove to nana's, waited for her to change out of mac uniform, and finally set our minds on Timbre @ the art house. finally somewhere a quarter century old fella would be seen at.
even the songs he request spoke of his age. mm bop by the hansons. we had more food at timbre coz nana was hungry and kelly n i were craving for the duck pizza *yum yum*

the night ended with a phi song called "Anak" which means Child. it was a slow song, can see that the singer put lots of emotions while singing the song. sounds like a real sad song, go find out the meaning!

day after MAN U

woke up pretty late the next day, 11-12pm? it was raining heavily outside in Malaysia, ahhh feel so lazy!

didnt feel like leaving the cozy house, and the company of cousins. but, the temptation of having my favourite food in the world was just too much!

most of my cousins will know what im talking about, too bad i didnt snap a picture of my favourite Mee Hoon Kueh! Singapore's MHK really suck lor, seriously. whenever im back in Msia, i'll definitely have that for lunch everyday.

the rain stopped after we finished our delicious MHK and we went down to One Utama (shopping centre) to meet uncle justin, sit down chit chat have tea and cakes. eat again....

Msia is just soo big that it takes very long to get frm 1 place to another, before long we had to go home, chop chop pack and to the airport!
Grace sent us to the airport where we had food again, Old Town which is similar to our toast box. i only had peanut butter bread, while jo had her fav nasi lemak. wah sooo full lor! and there we go, up the plane and back to Singapore -.-

they were too fast for our cameras to catch! regret not getting those really huge and pro cameras! i want a SLR! =P

after 4 minutes of extra time, the match ended at 2-0
and time to be back in the locker room
didnt manage to catch any of the jersey! damn! some lucky girl got Macheda's
so jealous! boooooand this is the official merchandise stall outside the stadium, most of the stuff were sold out already, too bad no more scarf and lanyard=(
only left with tees in size S & M haha
too bad guys!
we concluded there were way too many guys who watched on sat, haha no girls soo S & M sizes were of abundanceand these are things i bought, only 2! boooo! kinda regret now, i want to buy more MAN U stuff!! got a signature tee and a red devil hairband, the horns actually have light bulbs in them, so they light up

Sweet Pleasure

Saturday was an eventful day, woke up at 6.45am ! earliest i ever woke up for the past few months for SMU doubles @ Safra Mt Faber
happy happy day started from morning. Initially i tot Ya Kun wont be open so early, but they do! 2 eggs, 2 kaya toast, 1 milo and =X .

roll off started at 9am, which is uber uber early la, bowled in the same lane as pau, cecilia, kevin n teehsien. i partnered glenda this time! FINALLY after so many donkey years we become doubles partner. i'll nv forget the year when that person paired me up with someone else other than glenda, would have BAGGED the GOLD!
we were the only few girl-girl team. most of them were boys and we had to compete against them woth only 10pins handicap each =( but nonetheless we still made it into the Stepladder bakers round! hehez trashed most of the boys except the top4 hehez, what an acheivement=) 5th! and thanks Tom for coming down, haha though u werent in time to catch me in action, still many thanks! vielen Dank! =) one more medal and $30 Takashimaya Vouchers
went to bakerzin after the whole eventful afternoon for some cakes! yum yum! ahya but i made a bad choice la, the Sweet pleasure cake, which i tot would be as good as the Canele one isnt that awesome! i still prefer the cheeesecake=)and on the way home we caught sight of this van! omg scary la, imagine if we saw it at night in a dark alley

attended a charity dinner party with my parents and the chan family last Friday, actually i dont know what isit about, only thing is it's formal black tie event. so gossip girl. =)

people who attended were big shots from various industries, we sat with a banker, next time i wanna find a job, i can go to him. hahaha that's what daddy say =P and these are the friends whom i grew up with since a gazillion years ago.

the night ended at 11pm and boy do i need to get home quick, and to bed asap! haha big day tomorrow =P

Po-po-Pokerface

My Haps Wednesdays are BACK! wooots*
waited so long for this, stupid classes on wednesdays are long gone, and H1N1 came in...boo hooo but now that everything had boiled over, common flu became so common, no more restrictions! yay! =)

Had dinner with jo's family at Melben seafood, wasted should have taken a photo of how much food that was on the table! 9 huge dishes in total for 6 pple?! extravagant dinner i must admit. lotsa crab! it was a special occasion la, coz Uncle Justin came for a visit. haha so weird i have to call him Uncle though he is only a few years older than me.
and off i go with nelson to pick marc up at novena n straight to partyland! feel so unaccustomed to the whole lining up get chop thingy haha. there wasnt a lot of pple there la compared to after exams. waited for kelly to come, she told me 5mins, yeah right! waited for so long alone at the busstop! haha well anyway she got chopped and we went to the kopitiam for drinks. too bad kok couldnt come, down with fever! rest well la=P

the most haps thing was, my cousins went to zouk toooo! haha the last time i remembered was when cousin Ding was in town. Glenn and friend, jo and justin at zouk, haha what a night! they bought 6 jugs of whisky dry and 4 shots. i hearts my cousins because they're soo haps!after those drinks, we were ready to hit the dance floooors! everyone enjoyed themselves, coz it wasnt tooo crowded at zouk and at phuture, at least we've got some air! haha best thing was when it started to get super crowded, somebody started a fight, girl vs guy, haha those scratchmarks on the guys neck..tsk tsk and kelly's friend got punched for nothing la! omg haha innocent bystander..but that cleared a whole lot of people and SPACE to dance finally! =P

Kelly's Bimbotic Pinkalicious Party

Last Saturday was Kelly's 21st Birthday Party held at SMU Screme. It was a great party and we had lotsa fun, talking, eating, taking photos and playing games.

it was a pink party! like BIMBOTIC Pink, it's so absolutely kelly! =P and here is her Birthday Cake! isnt is pretty!? i want one tooooo! =) luv the color combi and it actually taste pretty awesome

Movie Madness

Movie Tuesday,

Caught 2 movies in one day, first one was Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs in 3D, with Kelly, Marc, Nelson and Yisi. The movie is kinda brainless and the 3D was such a disappointment. The second one was I Love You, Man with Marc, Nelson, Tyler and Jolene. This was a better movie, real hilarious one. if u wanna know more about those 2 movies, go watch it yourself! haha im too lazy to elaborate at this moment =P maybe next time.

Dinner was at our fav Korean Restaurant, Togi @ Mosque Street! affordable yet authentic Korean food. Definitely a must try for korean foodie out there =). We never stopped eating after dinner, and Nelson said he was on a diet. Beef rice at Togi, mountain of red bean ice green tea at dessert place, Shilin Chicken @ Cathay, his 2nd box of salty pops, and lastly cold tau huay. What a diet =P

and this is the pork hotstone rice i ordered, yum yum =)and my fav appetizers! their eaten cold which is oh-so-yummmmy
