Healthy Healthy Lifestyle in the making...

guess i've been really stress lately, that i havent been sleeping well enough...dark eye rings booooooo..pimplefied face again! arghhh

yesterday, i woke up pretty early 6am when i only need to be in school at 11am.. haha i tried to go back to sleep but i cant! insomnia! ahhhhh! plus the flue bug is coming back...boooooo

so i remembered my mommy said she has been "jogging every morning w/o you because you always cant get out of bed", so yesterday, since i cant sleep, decided to test that..my maid says mommy doesnt get up to jog *hush hush* hahaha...so as expected she was still in bed when i was already up and "jumpy" ready to go! haha she was pretty shocked when she saw me.she's just like a kid when it comes to running, haha after 5 mins of JOGGING she says "ahya girl! my leg pain already leh, you run first" haha okieee...so we ran 2 rounds around our estate and then off to the reservoir! she just keeps complaining," dont need to wait for me la...just run! i'll be behind you" haha okie lor! her complains nv end even after we finish the run..haiyooo MOMMY!!=P

deepavali isnt that great at all...stuck in rainy Spore to spend the public holiday..who can be as miserable as me....doing project on the SUNDAY b4 a monday public holiday..and shutting myself in my room the whole freaking day doing up my socio assignment?! sigh...my sunny clear blue Bintan trip.......=( booooooo

yessss i spent nearly 3 hrs in a starbucks cafe, discussing, exchanging, talking everything obama related..stiffing coffee beans and tea leaves, drinking my choc cream chip.....so finally we had our very very first meeting after soo darn long, when the project deadline is just 2 weeks away..

after gruelling hours of projects, finally we called it a day..jianjian, being a soccer fan wanted to watch his liverpool vs chelsea match..so we went opp to chijmes for dinner..Hogs Breath Cafe..the food there is v v v expensive man! the atmosphere there was awesome if u're a liverpool fan..even if u're not, it's quite amusing to watch them jump when someone scores..haha especially jianjian =p lol .. damn funnny

so i was talking to an anonymous person..she says she found out that her ex bf just got tgt with a girl whom she also knows..and she feels too ARGHHH bout it...haha i totally understand that feeling..u'll get this indescribable feeling...by right u're suppose to feel happy for him or just totally dont care bout it, like why should i care...by left u're feeling worst than ever especially when u know that girl.....haiz boys.....=P

project deadlines are nearing...after that i'll be goin into official mugging mode(hopefully)

yesterday was such a bad bad day..i woke up like super early 6am! (can u believe it?!) went to school for the NM test which was so tricky and smokey..but nonetheless i finished it within the time limit..let's just hope everything turns out well....

i was too tired to even sit through the whole of econs lecture so along with kelly and zijian, we left during the break to declub for a 1hr nap=) hehe..and time certainly passed too quickly...booo=(

after school we went to vivo city for lunch as well as a movie "Tropic Thunder" but according to zijian its "Starship Troopers" and " Tropic Troopers?" oh well he's a bimbo=P starring Ben Stiller, Jack Black and others..cant really remember..=P the movie was great, real funny, gory, bloody, lots of F***s..zj is such a sadist! he laughs when people gets blown to bits..think he is just stressed out haha =Pafter the movie..i went for dinner with my parents and next for driving..oh man i tell u! the instructor is soo soo soo boring and serious..he barely even smile and he is monotonous! yesterday was the first time i MOUNT a KERB while driving thru the S course, and hit the pole while parking vertically, parallel and driving up the ramp..haha guess i was just too tired

arghhh..was suppose to head to bintan for a relaxing getaway with my family but due to some unforeseen circumstances! the trip got cancelled! so disappointed! no sandy beaches for me=( booo

went to school yesterday at bout 4 plus to celebrate yuhui's 21st! yay! jas's plan went smoothly w/o any hiccups..so we had pizza for dinner! yummilicious - tomyum seafood, teriyaki chick, smoked salmon and hawaiianbirthday girl BIG lycans family

at first i told myself i should go home after celebrating and STUDY! but haiya...failed attempt la..ended up staying in sch for Movie under the Stars and watched MaMaMia for the 2nd time..this time i had kelly to mambo along with me haha =P

money money money...must be funny..in a rich man's world

i think im addicted to shopping? hmmmmz...i have been shopping nonstop! like buying anything and everything...mostly dresses with floral prints on them really catches my eye

since thailand, i havent been shopping that much until last last week! when i went bugis with my 2 good friends, zijian and kelly. since then, i can only think of where to shop. i even got caught up with online shopping! oh my...as i said earlier i've bought 2 tops from an online blog...n it isnt enough! im still thinking whether i'll get that Aldo watch which cost 65bucks! but there are 4 changeable straps so it's like buying 4 watches..worth it right!?

last month i tried to save money...well it turned out quite well..but i think i spent it all alr la! oh dear...plus now we're going through a technical recession(heard it from the news) aand im suppose to save save save and not spend spend spend!

so why did i bring this up!? because i just bought another 2 dresses! =X omg! i just cannot resist the temptation eh! haha help! i need medication just like kelly! haha we're both really broke right now..perhaps im a little better off than her coz i didnt spend like a bomb on my hair=P yeah dearest jianjian has been shopping a lot lately as well..he is the biggest spender!=)spent my whole day at home, listening to nv ending webcasts for my upcoming test on friday booo=( and also spent my time with my baby waffles=) and most importantly, gotta spend some time with my always loving mommy n daddy..so we finally finally went out of our territory, yiochukang, and ventured into town! haha it's been weeks since we've been out..so i brought them to Central shopping mall..our actual plan was to eat Ma Maison..but guess what the waitress told us when we asked how long we need to wait for a table..45 - 1hr! omg! and we were the first in line, before countless no. of pple behind us..so we decided instead to eat at a chinese restaurant..i tell u! it's the worst worst worst restaurant ever! the service really sucked to the core! booooo! really...we ordered one hairy crab, and they just plop the steamed one on our table w/o even cutting it open..like wth! they wan us to do it ourselves..but i think it's their duty what! nv even give us cutleries how to eat!? then we only ordered 1 fried rice, they served 2..we ordered one tofu that nv came...... and when we call the waitress who took our order, she say we nv tell her we want the tofu...of coz we ordered! because she's the one who recommanded it! and after that i think she felt guilty and gave us complimentary desserts..boooo

another issue..our dearest kelly and a few others are in trouble..let's just pray that all of them will be fine *fingers cross* powerpuffs will be behind u kelly! =) u have all our support

i went to driving lesson today n i survived through 2 hrs of turning left turning right..was soooo drained after the lesson n i still cant parallel park properly..2 whole hrs in the circuit! soo boring right! boooooo

came home and saw a package on my table..my online shopping has arrived! yay! so efficient! =)

n yesterday i've decided i shall cook for my parents today..not their anniversary or anything, just a normal dinner for them...so i msged jasper for his chicken recipe! my hands are well marinated right now just like the chickens are..i smell of oyster sauce and sesame oil..yum-mi!=P

today is such a great day =)

there was a vanity bazaar at central forum yesterday and tzewei performed yesterday afternoon at central forum as well =)

went down to support him after lunch with caderam, kelly and zj..tzewei was playing the guitar and we also saw sze how playing the drums..so poor thing, he had to play a rubber drum set..haha but overall their performance was alright..just a few glitch here n there.. they sang a JAY CHOU song n kelly went almost berserk! haha
i think tzewei! u sing better than those 2 guys la! =) what a waste!anyway amongst the crowd..i spotted, kelly spotted, both at the same time! this guy! OMG! he is so so so so so so HOT! after spotting him..we looked at each other..both of us kinda know what the other is thinking..so we went "OMG! ahhhhhhhhh!" haha our bimbo moment again hehez

i think yvonne and caderam got a shock..while zj just looked at us..guess he is used to it alr! haha
we didnt get to see tt hottie perform becoz zj say we're late so we gotta go! boooo=(
after class, i accompanied zj to vivo to buy his sandals..but unfortunately his feet is waaay toooo small to even fit into a size 9! can u believe it! haha soo in the end he didnt even buy anything..haha see la! small feeet!=P haha

after much much persuasion...i decided okie! i'll gooo for BOWLING outing! surprised? haha im quite surprised too actually..but i havent seen that bunch of peeps for such a long time and i think it's time to meet up with them! yay! so off i go to another sunny island of singapore - SENTOSA!

omg so exciting! =P

yeah so it was just me,glenda, gen, eddie, bobby, diana, haojie and jasper while pau and kenneth came later in the evening..although we had very few people, we had loads of fun! playing volley...speaking of volley! there's this weird girl who came over with a cigeratte and joined us..and her name was CAT..n nobody really responded to her until she ask for names...haha!=X evil!i wanted to get a tan but the weather wasnt on my side....haha although it didnt rain but almost did...there wasnt any sun! boooo
so other than playing volley and frisbee..we gossipedd=X and jasper say it's my forte to gossip! ahyoo speak for yourself okiee! =P

ohh n for that! we buried jasper! hahahaha! and eddie got it too when kenneth and pau came..hehez

we had a bbq dinner! @ labrador park! wooooo i didnt know that place was sooooo nice la! omg! prolly the nicest park in spore......

jasper's dad brought the food..so nice! thank you uncle! =) jasper bought all the food the day before...he got everything la...all the essentials for a perfect BBQ evening! i told him he could just start a catering business! =Psyafiq the magician and musician came as well! haha it's always so fun to have him around! double entertainment !well everything went great..the food was awesomely good! the weather fantabulously great! and the company of the bowlers were absolutely wonderful! haha =P goood weekend=)

what happening parents i have! my mommy was singing along the songs in the movies while daddy was moving a little to the beat! haha the movie was really great great great=) guess it was a real good movie for daddy and mommy..the songs they can relate to..reminded them of the days when they were dating...awwwww=)

im glad i brought them to watch this movie! it was soo sooo sweeeeet! and pierce bronsnan is way way way tooooo CHARMING! totally love him! and he actually sang in that movie! haha though it was real funny but i still love him!=P

there were laughing moments and real sad moments in the movie..awww mommy n i teared when they sang "the winner takes it all" haha totally relate to that song =( but oh welll! they had a wonderful ending! how can she even think of getting married at 20?! so im glad she didnt

after the movie i told my mom and dad that i wan a

socio test happened this afternoon at engine LT 7a!

i set my alarm clock at 8.30am but in the end...i woke up at 9.30am! kept snoozing the alarm until i think it's high time i wake up!

revised the notes i've made for crime and deviance and religion till bout 11am and off to school..
the situation outside the LT was so tense la! everybody flipping and flipping their notes while zijian me and eugene ang watched..i was too nervous to even read through my notes again..afraid that i might confuse myself with durkheim, weber and whatever...

i wonder how did caderam finish the test in 20mins..20mins through the test i was only 1/4 done..wrote about 3 pieces of paper and handed it up! and i realise! DAMN! i forgot about MERTON! =( booooooo...

but anyhow..everyone gave a sigh of relieve after the test was over...finally! im so gonna take a break from socio reading! the mugger-ness in me ends today! well after the paper was over we went to PS, zijian eugene kelly and me..for Pasta Mania and then Cathay for 'House Bunny'
it was a typical chic flick but with lots n lots n lots of humour injected into it..i felt that the movie though dumb, was quite entertaining..not bad not bad! and zj said to me n kelly after the movie "you 2 can act in that movie also la! bimbos!" haha well a great movie to catch if u are also one of them being labelled as a BIMBO..lol

so after the movie it was only 5pm and we were still stuffed with pasta so we decided to take a long walk w/o rude people! haha so zj kelly and i walked from cathay to bugis street while eugene went homesooo long i've been cooped up at home studying for socio, a module which amplifies the simple things in life...really desparate for shopping now! oooo bugis street..havent been there for a long time..and it's as usual, crowded, stuffy, sometimes smelly and HOT! i wonder how the shopkeepers tahan..zijian is such a nice guy to go shopping with..he is unlike most guys who complain complain n complain while girls shop...he just waits and waits and sometimes give "useful" comment..but definitely a great guy to have around when you're shopping! kudos to our jianjian! =)result:
1. zijian the biggest spender..buying 2 items costing 60plus
2. steph! (me) bought 5 items costing exactly 50bucks
3. kelly least spender for today 4 items 40 bucks

i felt so good after doing all that shopping though there are some stuff which i didnt get today...i'm contented=) shall leave the others for next time...

and so for dinner, we needed a more budget place to eat and drink..kelly suggested Fisherman Wharf, opposite Central. good and economical fish and chips! guess what time we had dinner! 9pm! haha i tot it was only 8pm! lost in the sea of clothes....
and so now im back home! and thought i havent rewarded myself enough today for studying "so hard" the past few days..so im putting a hydrating mask on my face to clear all the stress and troubles i've experience over the past weeeek =) yipppeeee!

i met the other 2 powerpuffs on thursday afternoon for lunch, all 3 of us skipped socio lecture becoz we believe strongly in self study and opted for lunch instead=P

so we went to GEYLANG for lunch..haha personally im not very sure bout that place, seldom go there because my parents dont like to go there, plus mommy say it's no place for a girl! but yeah they're cool with me having lunch with kelly and zj in geylang..so since zj patronises geylang often, he shall lead the way! and guess what he didnt get lost! haha amazing and i wonder why....

we had the famous lor 9 beef kuayteow, coffee ribs, crispy noodles and gongbao frog leg prorridge ( sorry no photos! )

haha the weather was sooo hot that day..my god! we were practically roasting under the hot sun! after lunch we walked all the way to lor 1 to meet up with those who went for lecture : ezann, euglee, serene and yajun and eugene ang was obviously late! took 1.5hrs for him to get to kallang from yishun..wonder at what speed did he drive?? hmmmmzz

so we went to survey the site that we are allocated...basically the whole plot of land between national stadium and the kallang mrt..for now it's still empty, but the URA has got big plans for it and we're suppose to either modify it, improve on it or just leave it the way it is..haha
so after hours under the hot sun, taking photos and stuff, we finally got to sit down and discuss what shall be done to that area..and of coz with our brilliant brilliant minds, we got everything more or less settled in no time=)

the day hasnt end yet for me and the 2 powerpuffs..so much for self studying, we're lagging behind time! so 3 of us went to city hall to study at our usual haunt - Starbucks
for the very first time we're doing socio tutorial, and we realise that it's faster if we do tgt compared to doing alone.

so it's time for celebration! haha after a tiresome day..powerpuffs decided to chill@CHIJMES! haha lots of pubs and restaurants in there, but we werent hungry, so decided to go for something light..walked around fand discovered it's definitely not cheap! so we settled down at the "cheapest place" we can find..i cant remembered what's the name..Something Pizzaria

the ambience there is really superb! it wasnt very warm, cool breeze, live music playing from another pub..sense of relieve after a hard day's work!
plus my 2 lovely friends whom i love to talk to..perfect evening!

it's a public holiday once again! Selamat Hari Raya to all my Muslim frens out there!

well actually planned to study today..okie i wanted to study today..went to the Expo with my mommy..n actually planned to study there while she shopped with my grandma..but i ended up walking down the row of clothes, testing perfumes, ramaging heaps of clothes to find the right size

what's a girl got to do when she's swarmed with clothes?!

although this is our 4th time goin to anuaar's place..we still dont know the way! haha so is it turn right or turn left?! huuuuh!
soo i decided from this yr onwards im gonna REMEMBER the way to his house...

cut thru the HDBs, walk straight till u cross 2 big drains, n turn right house no. 82!
i told cali..his house is the really green one! hahamy fav hari raya goodie! nv fail to satiate my tastebud! yum!

nothing much has changed, the food is still great n delicious, met up with my friends back in JC days..all the nostalgia..we hang out in his room, the trophies lined up on his shelf really reminded me of the days when we all were still in our ties, gathering at the cafe canteen, gossiping bout particular person...haha happy times=)
