FOC Appreciation Dinner

yay! freeeeeee dinner! after all that hardwork we've put in.....

we had our dinner at Taos - Paradiz centre, a 7 course dinner yummmmy! =P

the food was gooooood - fine dining okie! haha dont play play! i dont know how much it cost but it sure looks expensive!

so monday was the start of RAG 2008

slept really late on sunday Thanks to someone! haha ya

was down with flu on monday but still i support rag!

brought Waffles to the vet in the morning. surprisingly he was really calm n quiet in the car..no biting or whatsoever..he was due for 2 vacinnation. one is to insert a microchip the other i've got no idea..it was so traumatising for me becoz the needle was so so so huge! i think i would just faint if that was to be inserted into my skin..haha BUT waffles is brave! he did not even let out any sound..i couldnt bear to loook at the process..but at least it was over in less than 3 mins..

so brought waffles home..the doc said he would most prolly be very quiet today but haha it doesnt seem so! anyway after sending waffles home, i went to sch for rag..the turn out rate was good and apparently most of them are more interested in doing the float than dance! haha WHY! guess they're still fresh, obviously they dont know the kinda commitment they'll have to give for float! haha 24/7 pple!

the next day was the first ever Rag Camp..n i was one of the station master! haha AGAIN! anyway i had fun n they had lots of fun too..the games were properly planned n all..kudos to the RAG team!
and yesterday, tgt with my classmates back in jc we celebrated Jesmine's 20th Birthday! yay! our long awaited gathering toooo=) ..we went to some pub/bar place at orchard emerald to chill along with their scout friends plus justin..haha the chicken wings were superb..dinner was supposed to be settled there too but they dont really serve real food foood! so justin kept ordering chicken wings! but in the end he was still hungry! poor justin! fried rice for u?! haha
well after dinner was MAMBO at zouk..this time with my girlfriends! haha first time clubber jesmine, steph n liz. it was soo crowded last night plus we went late..the first time i got to queue for so long! =P met a couple of pple in the club, marcus, tyler, MICHELLE! sam, alexius n andrew
..the night was great although the songs kinda suck at the beginning but im sure our mambo virgin jesmine enjoyed her night! =) happy birthday!

aftermath of FOC

the camp was so successful tt im suffering frm withdrawal symptoms, it was busy busy busy for months and now im left with nothing to do..

weird things which happened today..

1. why are my parents not at work today

2. SATURDAY afternoon movie is on channel 5????!!!!

3. my hk drama wasnt showed on channel 55 today????!!!

n so i asked my mom why and i realiseeeeed

today is a saturday! oh my god! ever since i woke up, i thought today is a friday!
haha sooo those questions hit me..i thought mediacorp screwed up today...but it was actually me..slept too much to realise tt today is actually saturday

i was looking through photos taken last yr..n started reminiscing over last yr's foc that i had, i remember goin for the camp w/o knowing anyone, but now i've got my group of good friends frm RE n PFM whom stood by me till now..projects after projects, presentation after presentation, exams, tests, parties after parties, birthdays after birthdays, we do everything tgt

SDE FOC '08

steph is finally back from camp! oooo waffles! i missed u soo much!

anyway our foc was success! although we had to overcome a few bumps n obstacles along the way, it ended with a bang yesterday night

i got to know my friends better and made many new ones=) the experience was a valuable one, all the planning and execution of our programmes

crisis management is important! haha tt's what i learnt after some unfortunate events on day 1, but it's alright everything went smoothly the next day=)

hopefully our freshies enjoyed the camp as much as we do! day 3 of field games were none the same as the foc i attended last yr..a lot more exciting=X
eugene ang's game : Soap hockey "generated" lots of casualty, most had knee abrasions while playing that game, but still i guess they had fun judging frm their faces


oh yes caderam n ernest managed to smash a half full watermelon! oh man i dont know how they manage to do tt becoz apparently, none were able to break it during trial camp, even the empty ones! haha iron man

the earliest we slept throughout the camp was 4am so today i spent the whole day sleeping only to wake for lunch n dinner=X
and now i wanna sleep again!

a taste of summer.....

today is day -1 of camp

isnt it exciting!? haha after so many months of preparation...brainstorming....thinking...the camp is actually gonna take place really sooooon...

went back to school today to pack the logistic for the camp..becoz it's a weekend..there isnt any aircon in declub! omg! it was like being in an oven for a few hours

the whole club room is soo sandy, messy n dusty..the worst part is we're gonna sleep in there for 5 days! =O! yeahh good luck to us..

im starting to be attached to waffles quite alot..after a few hours in sch only i've already started to miss home, miss waffles......=( booo hooo

had dinner with my parents n my uncle n auntie at a restaurant in jurong east..didnt join my friends becoz saturday is FAMILY day! haha

so tml will be DAY O of SDE FOC 2008..im so gonna miss my
